Now a big part of retaining the length and health of my hair is keeping it well moisturized. Before (and after) each protective style, I like to give myself a nice hot oil and/or deep conditioning treatment. I lucked up and found some of my favorite essential oils at a great price and I jumped on the deal. I paid about $1.25 for each tube and I saw them for $
3.29 at beauty supply store in my neighborhood. Can you say STEAL! Anyhow, I got every one they had to offer and some.
The Solution: Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Argon Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Cocoa butter Oil.

After: Wash and Style as usual
Wow! ITS OCTOBER 2013 .. this year is just flying by & since my last post I’ve been busy taking care of work & home. So while my hair has been doing what it does (getting all long&pretty) I’ve been doin what I can to help it along the way a little bit.
So I figured out a few things about my hair & what it likes ..
* Garnier Fructis EVERYTHING: shampoo, conditioners, mousse, friz control etc. , it all works well together & my hair doesn’t feel heavy. It doesn’t cost much & you can find it at any convienant/beauty supply store.
* LOC Method: Now I’m not sure if its the LCO or if the ‘L’ stands for liquid or leave-in, so I just do it the simplest way I can…. Liquid – I rinse my hair in lukewarm water after I shampoo, condition & detangle my hair (no combs); Oil – Pure Extra Virgin Olive Oil; Cream – Leave-In Conditioner
* No Heat: Cut the
blow dryer, flat irons , pressing combs off and out of my life (for now!)
* Protective Styling: Protective & low manipulation hair styles. I love cap weaves, havana twist, wash&gos & long braids. All styles are easy to do at home & youtube can & will change your life!
* WATER WATER WATER & more WATER: never deny your hair moisture!!!
. . . A N D T H E N T H E R E W A S G R O W T H !!!!
I did it ! No weave , no perm , no color .. Just me & my twa 😉
